Dear VES Families,

Welcome back to Vogelweh Elementary School! We are off to a great start to the 2026–2027 school year, and it has been wonderful to see our students return with excitement and enthusiasm.

Students are settling into their routines, making new friends, building relationships with their teachers, and developing the habits and expectations that will help set the foundation for a successful school year. Across VES, our teachers and staff are working intentionally to create welcoming, engaging, and supportive learning environments where every student can grow.

As we begin this new year, our work remains closely aligned with the DoWEA Blueprint and its focus on Student Excellence, Instructional Excellence, Service Excellence, and Organizational Excellence. These priorities reflect our commitment to providing high-quality learning experiences, strong instruction, responsive support, and effective systems that serve our students and families well.

We also recognize that parents are their children’s first and most important educators. The partnership between home and school plays an essential role in student learning and academic achievement. Throughout the year, we will continue to strengthen opportunities for communication, collaboration, and meaningful family engagement because we know that our students are best supported when families and schools work together.

Thank you for your continued partnership and for entrusting us with your children each day. We are excited about the year ahead and all that our VES Eagles will accomplish together!
